Dervs and Cuzzy take over Sydney

Well it’s officially day one of Dervs and Cuzzy’s 7 days in Sydney and I’m blogging from the Sydney Fish Markets. The two of them are cooking up a storm in the Sydney Seafood Cooking School and are looking forward to tasting their own creations imminently. It’s been a bit of a theme since they’ve arrived – yesterday they cooked a BBQ on Bondi Beach for lunch, today they’ll have their thai seafood masterpieces and later tonight they’ll be serving up some of the most infamous pies in Sydney at Harry’s Cafe de Wheels. So they may have been chosen for an all expenses paid trip to Sydney but we’re not just making them sing for their supper – they’ve got to cook it as well!

Bondi on Thames

Aussies are a generous lot[1]. We know we’ve got it pretty good; amazing weather, beautiful scenery, friendly (and extremely good looking!) people. This week Sydneysiders have decided to take things one step further and share one of our favourite places with our friends in London. Bondi!

Baby it’s cold outside

The one downside to living in a sun soaked paradise is that Sydneysiders don’t get the opportunity to experience a white winter wonderland unless we venture to that other hemisphere. Those ice cool folks at the Sydney Winter Festival have done their best to change that!

7 days in Sydney

The countdown is on – in only one week’s time Dearbhla “Dervs” Kieran and Chris “Cuzzy” Cousins will be on their way to Sydney. I can’t wait to have them here! These two cheeky adventurers are enthusiastic, funny and just the right amount of crazy so it’s going to be an eventful 7 days. I’m keeping the itinerary under lock and key at the moment but stay tuned for some sneaky hints that’ll reveal what we’ve got in store.
