My Sydney soundtrack represents the change of season and the change of mood that sweeps the city.

The tracks build the feel of the perfect Sydney summer day, from a soulful wake-up call telling us about the “Change” to a groovy reminder that Summer is not to be “Taken for granted”. We then “Beat the twighlight” before the “Sunsets” into the “Sweet Disposition” of a summer night.

These are the songs that have soundtracked my summer festivals, starting from back in Glastonbury in 97 when I was jut a little lad, right up to last year….
These are the songs I have got drunk to, fallen asleep in the sun to, made best friends forever to, sang at the top of my voice to, tried to finally get some sleep to…
Every one of these songs have very special memories, and I’m hoping to re-live as many of these memories again this summer in Sydney………..

a stack of bands i plan to SOMEHOW see this summer!

each song either takes me back to city memories, or the feel of a gig… whether it be a crazy i’m-gonna-die-but-that’s-okay-cus-i-just-groped-matt-fuckin-bellamy moshpit, or a dingy too hot too small room listening to a band even stoneder than the crowd.. its all fucking great, and here’s my homage!
